Why Not was born from a dream shared between Roberta Marcone and Chef Elison Ford Aviguetero.
Their journey began in Naples, where Elison arrived after his culinary studies in Filippine. It was there, amidst the chaotic beauty of the Italian south, that they envisioned a place where their two cultures could merge.
Choosing Berlin's Charlottenburg district, they honor the historical legacy of the location (formerly "de maufel") while bringing a fresh, warm breeze of Italian hospitality mixed with Filipino culinary artistry.
Why "Why Not"?
Because when asked if two distant culinary traditions could unite perfectly on a plate, the only answer was... Why Not?
